Function Reference: ISEVEN, ISODD

Syntax
=ISEVEN(number)
=ISODD(number)
Purpose / Description
Returns the value TRUE if the value (after rounding towards zero to the nearest whole number) is an even number (ISEVEN) or an odd number (ISODD).
Arguments
Name Type Description
number number A constant, reference or nested expression that returns the number to be evaluated.  If the value is a numeric text string, it will be coerced to number.  If the value is a decimal value, it is rounded to the nearest towards zero to the nearest whole number before being evaluated.
Return Values
Type Specific Value Description
logical   Returns TRUE or FALSE to indicate if the number passed to the number argument is even (ISEVEN) or is odd (ISODD).
error #VALUE! If the value passed to the number argument is a logical value or a text string that cannot be coerced to number.
error   Any errors referenced by arguments are returned due to propagation of error values.
