Notes / Comments / Advice / Warnings
Notes: If time values represent fractions of a second, such as when split times are recorded, the SECOND function will round the second and return a whole number.
Advice: If it is necessary to return the seconds including the decimal of the second, then
To return as a time value use instead =MOD(serial_number,1/1440).
To return as a number with a whole number of seconds and a decimal for the split time, use instead =MOD(serial_number,1/1440)*86400
