Function Reference: ISERR

Syntax
=ISERR(value)
Purpose / Description
Determines if the value is any of the Excel error values, except #N/A - (error types 1 to 6 and 8 to 14)
Arguments
Name Type Description
value any The value which is to be examined to determine if it is a number value.
Return Values
Type Specific Value Description
logical TRUE The value argument is a one of the error values, except #N/A.  See the link below for a list of error values and their causes.
logical FALSE The value argument is either not an error value or is the error value #N/A.
Notes / Comments / Advice / Warnings
Note: As this is a function for determining value type, it does not return errors when an error value is passed, as that is not a reference, so in that case, it returns FALSE.
